What is the Difference Between Kiln-Dried Sawdust and Green Sawdust?
Kiln-dried sawdust is sawdust from dry processed wood. Green sawdust is sawdust from wet unprocessed wood.

How Does Sawdust Compare to Clay-Based Absorbents for Spill Cleanup?
Our sawdust absorbs 3 times its weight in 5 minutes due to its porous particle make up. Clay based absorbents would not absorb 3 times its weight and definitely not in the amount of time.

Sawdust will absorb more because the particles are smaller and more porous. Sawdust also serves as an ammonia deterrent reducing odor.
